The trim on the front of the house was snapped because of the strange bend in the trim on the roof. Notice the cracked beam. Click on any picture to view a LARGER photo and then zoom in on the details!
Move views of the broken beam. When you zoom in on the crack you'll notice the nails and caulking some tried to use to make it stay together.
